Description

The SM/SH/SL37–75 series Ingersoll Rand Sierra® oil-free screw air compressors are engineered to deliver high-purity compressed air for demanding industrial applications where reliability, energy efficiency, and zero oil contamination are critical.

Designed with advanced two-stage compression technology and certified to ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 0 air standards (TÜV Rheinland® verified), this series ensures completely oil-free air output suitable for food processing, pharmaceuticals, electronics manufacturing, and other precision industries.

Advanced Energy-Efficient Drive System

The compressor is equipped with a high-efficiency IE4-class motor operating at 380–415V, 3-phase, 50Hz. The fully enclosed TEFC design ensures stable performance under harsh industrial conditions while minimizing energy losses. Combined with a star-delta starter and intelligent load/unload control, the system provides smooth operation and reduced starting stress.

Intelligent Control & IoT Integration

The Luminance smart controller offers a user-friendly interface with bilingual (Chinese/English) display and full system monitoring. Built-in RS485 Modbus RTU communication enables seamless integration into industrial automation systems, while standard IoT functionality allows remote monitoring and predictive maintenance capabilities.

Two-Stage Oil-Free Compression Technology

The core of the Sierra® series is its robust two-stage screw airend design. By distributing compression across two stages, thermal load is significantly reduced, improving efficiency and extending service life. Stainless steel rotors with patented UltraCoat™ surface treatment ensure stable airflow, reduced leakage, and long-term performance consistency.

UltraCoat™ Rotor Protection Technology

Ingersoll Rand’s exclusive UltraCoat™ coating utilizes a molybdenum disulfide-based composite applied via robotic spraying. This ensures uniform coverage and excellent adhesion, significantly reducing wear and maintaining volumetric efficiency over time. Compared to conventional coatings, UltraCoat™ helps prevent efficiency loss and reduces total operating costs.

Triple-Seal Oil Isolation System

A unique triple-seal structure completely isolates the lubrication system from the compression chamber:

  • Stainless steel barrier seal prevents air-oil cross contamination

  • Labyrinth seal minimizes internal oil migration

  • Drain seal ensures safe discharge in case of leakage
    This architecture guarantees true oil-free compressed air output.

High Ambient Temperature Capability

The Sierra® series is designed for reliable operation in environments up to 46°C. Whether air-cooled or water-cooled, the system maintains stable performance even in high-temperature and high-humidity industrial conditions.

Reliable Mechanical Design

Each compression stage is equipped with high-precision roller and angular contact bearings to handle both radial and axial loads. This reduces rotor clearance variation, enhances efficiency, and significantly improves long-term reliability.

Low Noise & Compact Structure

The sound-insulated enclosure ensures a noise level of approximately 79 dB(A), making it suitable for installation in production environments requiring reduced acoustic impact. Compact dimensions allow flexible installation in limited spaces.
